The sun begins to set, fog rolls in and down the mountain side. On the edge of the water stand two giants at the base of a waterfall. They stand tall as the waterfall (Skogafoss) sings them to sleep.

Skogafoss, Water flows far and falls high, hitting the ground below with power you can feel in your chest. Mist floating around like clouds on the ground, a double rainbow on the sunniest of days and birds that call the cliff sides home.

Hearing the water rush down between the rocks.. seeing the sun peak out just over the trees... the fresh smell of nature in the air, theres nothing like it. Just off the road and back into the woods a bit, stood the tall tress with the river coming down from the mountain tops and large rocks bathing in it's freshness ... A shy sun tries to hide behind the mountains, but it's brightness gives away it's location spreading beautiful light around the giants down onto the clear, fresh water below. The lands are flat, the sun is bright and the heat is intense. Mills, Sheds, Grains and Trains as far as the eye can see. The air is fresh the breeze is weak but there's a calm beauty about it all. Winding roads through the mountains on the way to Tofino lies a lake high in the mountains. Not far off the road the sun sets while wooden pillars stand tall in the warm lake protecting it's waters. Smooth rocks in the foreground glistening in the setting sun make the approach slippery. After taking my shoes off, rolling up my pants and wading out into the warm water to reflect on this amazing journey; the camera and tripod were set up, the filter was placed on the lens, the focus and frame was set... the image was made - Shutter Click. — at Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

The road winds through the mountains, around the last corner out pops the small village of VIK, Iceland. The road drops down into the town, but before that this church stands tall on a hill top over looking the ocean. The sun lighting the sky in the background like fire, silhouetting the church. A strong wind blows in off the ocean, surprisingly it wasn't to cold.. rain in the air and waves crashing onto the black sand beach, these three peaks stand tall. Looking out into the ocean as the birds circle far and wide. Blue and white tones mix with a small amount of reds, greens and yellows on the peaks to create a nice pallet. Sitting waterside, reflecting on the journey that is unfolding... way in the distance, across the water the giants stand watching me as I watch them. Their reflections in the water let me know they are real.
